S2600-CP2 flashing orange light...

I have a server with a S2600-CP2 motherboard that is telling me (through the flashing orange light on the sever board) that the fans in my server chassis are not functioning. The reality of the situation is that the fans are functioning fine, they just don't have the proper leads to connect them to the server board and as a result the server board doesn't know that they are there. The server is running fine.

I've searched and searched for instructions on how to tun this warning light off, but I have been unable to figure out what I need to do.

Would anyone be able to point me to some instructions on how I can change the server board settings so that it ignores the chassis fan speeds?

Download and apply the latest https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23204&lang=eng Firmware update package. Select correct fan configuration during update.

What kind of chassis are you using?

Hi edwardzh,

Thanks for the reply. I already have that version of the firmware installed. Are you saying that I need to re-run the install process again in order to make those setting changes? Is there no way to make those changes from a command line?

The server chassis that I am running this server board in is a http://www.norcotek.com/item_detail.php?categoryid=1&modelno=RPC-4020 Norco RPC-4020
