S2600BPS will it be compatible with VMware 8

Hello,

I have and Intel chassis HNS2600BPS with the MB S2600BPS.

I want to know if Intel is going to test or support VMware 8 / ESXI 8.

So far I've check VMware's Hardware Compatibility website and there is NO support or driver availability.

I am very disappointed at this point because I have only had this HCI server a little over 3 years and for it not to be supported really stinks.

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We appreciate your feedback when it comes to the OS compatibility for this board; however, please bear in mind that this product has been discontinued since 2019, and even though we still support technical inquiries and release updates for it, it doesn’t mean that we are planning to have changes in its compatibility regarding newer operating system versions, the OS compatibility for this board has been maintained since 2018 and it will remain like that.

That is very disappointing that a vendor would sell a product that was either just about to be discontinued or has already been discontinued. I bought the server because the Intel server I had was no longer support. Now I find out 3 years later I have another product that is unsupported. For the price of equipment my owners want it to run 4 to 5 years.
