S2600CP2 not working with multiple GPU’s

The board does not want to work when more than one GPU is plugged in. As well as this, the GPU only works in PCIe slot 5. When more than one is plugged in the board will freeze on the startup screen and then keep restarting.

I have updated to the latest bios: 02.06.0007 to no avail.

I am not sure if there is something I have missed in the Bios settings or if this board just doesn’t work with more than one GPU.

Any help would be great, I am really pulling my hair out over this!

Hello Deepb93,

Thank you for joining the community

Due to this product being discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request. Thank you for understanding.

The reason why the system might not be booting with 2 GPUs could be because of a lack of enough power provided by the PSU. Depending on the GPU power requirements the PSU might not provide enough power for the server regular functions and the GPUs.
