Good Wednesday everyone,
Will the LSI 9460-16i/Intel RSP3TD160F work properly with the S2600CW2 in uEFI mode? I know the LSI 9460-16i/Intel RSP3TD160F is NOT on the compatibility list.
Thanks
Ray

Hello RSump1,
Thank you for joining the Intel community
As you correctly state this RSP3TD160F/LSI 9460-16i RAID controller is not compatible with the S2600CW2 server board. It is possible that it won't even boot up since the RSP3TD160F is a Trimode RAID controller and requires the latest C624 chipset.
For the complete RSP3TD160F RAID controller compatibility list go here
For the complete supported devices for the S2600CW2 server board go here

I know when the bios is set to uEFI mode, I can see the card and attempt to configure it, however even though I have 2 drives hanging off the card the only option is RAID 0.

Hello RSump1,
What you are attempting is a not supported configuration. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any support on that as the results will be unknown. Take into consideration that in case of hardware failures no warranty could be honored on any of your devices. So probably will be better to get a supported RAID card and not risk 2 perfectly good systems.

Hello RSump1,
We would like to share with you this link serverconfigurator.intel.com, on this site you will find 3rd party product compatibility with Intel Product. You should access the THOL builder and then he will be able to filter by product brand and category.
Additionally, we would like to share with you an Excel file with the list of tested validated LSI cards and the Intel® Server Board S2600CW2. We will send you this information via email.
Also, if you are able to access the RAID controller configuration menu from BIOS once in UEFI mode, then there is a chance that this will work; however, you should still bear in mind that Intel has not validated that particular model and incompatibility issue could happen.
Finally, please go to the LSI support so you can check on why RAID0 is the only option available for you. You can try an FW update the LSI care, but this should be done with the advice of LSI support:
