Hello everyone,
As a follow-up question, if installing an Intel S2600STBR in an Intel P4304XXMFEN2 chassis, can the single, 550w non-swap power supply be replaced with the cage and power supplies from the Intel P4304XXMUXX?

Thanks
Ray

Hello Ray,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the compatibility of the Intel® Server Chassis P4304XXMFEN2 and Intel® Server Chassis P4304XXMUXX with the Intel® Server Board S2600STBR.

It's important to note that while both chassis are compatible with the server board, Intel does not endorse hardware modifications. While your idea involves combining approved chassis sections and components, we cannot guarantee the functionality of such a configuration. Our tested environments are designed to ensure reliability and performance.

Given that this request involves a configuration that falls outside the scope of Intel Customer Support, I will no longer be actively monitoring this forum thread. However, other members of the forum community might possess experience, insights, or ideas that could be helpful. Please feel free to engage with the community for further assistance.

Your enthusiasm to explore different possibilities is appreciated, and we hope you find a solution that meets your needs.
