S5000PSL Raid question

I have motherboard S5000PSL. I create Raid1 in raid controller bios? but when i try to install Centos 6.3 it dont see this Raid. So i have two questions:

- Why i have this problems with Raid

- What types of Raid S5000PSL support from box: software, hardware or both

S5000PSL has several different SKUs with different RAID configurations. And driver may be needed for each RAID option. Use the following tool to identify your RAID option and locate correct driver:

And please take notice that CentOS is not tested on this board, but you may try the RHEL driver.
