I am working on a server with S5000XVN Motherboard and I have setup the SAS drives as RAID 1. Everytime I reboot the the computer it loses the RAIN configuration and I have to recreat it. Any idea what I need to to to fix this?

Interesting issue, have you checked for your firmware level on the board ? Latest update is available http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19610&ProdId=2308&lang=eng here. Also, check for the http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/category/server/s5000xvn/faq FAQs available here for storage related questions that may give you clues on what you are encountering.
