We are doing a new build based on an S5520HCR mainboard in the SC5650BRP Chassis. We did a routine update of then entire firmware package including FRU/SDR, but are left with all fan at 100%. The relevant BIOS setting is set to "Acoustic". We have TRIPPLE checked that the chassis fans are connected to the correct headers the mainboard board (FAN1, 3, and 5), and have repeated the firmware package several times. FRUSDR autodetects the chassis so we are never prompted to select one.
This combination has worked for us before without incident and we are at our wits end.

I must appologize to the community: Although I said that the fan connections were tripple checked, it seems that the tech in question just didnt grok the layout at all: Once the fans were plugged into the correct ports and the FRU/SDR flashed, they behaved normally.
