SE7230NH1-E will not post, 4 Amber LED

Hi,

I have a server with a SE7230NH1-E motherboard that will not post. When power is applied, the fans and hard drives starts up, but I get 4 amber lights on the motherboard and it doesn't go any further. No video, mouse & keyboard does not have power. Any advice on troubleshooting?

Thanks

Clear the CMOS by jumper. Then, remove all the memory, and try to power on. If you get 3 beeps, that's a good sign. Try one stick of memory at a time.

If you get no beeps without memory, it may be bad power supply, motherboard, or processor.

Hi, Thanks for the response

We changed the power supply, cleared the CMOS and pulled the RAM. There was still no change in the 4 amber LEDs and still can not post...

Any beeps during POST, when all the memory was removed?

Sounds like the board probably needs replacing, then.

Power supply was defective. Everything works now that it has been replaced. Thanks!
