Ok, I have two SC5300 servers with SE7520bd2 ddr333 each with 2 processors Xeon FA4. The purpose of setting these up was to test VMware. I see with all the research and various tests I have run, that the CPU's are not rated for Virtual Technology. So my question is: can a simple processor upgrade be done to enable VT support? If so, which xeon processors? I've spent hours trying to get this to work and cross reference processors to my motherboards. Very frustrating! Any help very welcome!

Hi there,
I have just checked, unfortunately the board SE7520BD2 does not support VT. I know that the new server board with 5000 chipset does have support for VT.
Actually, if you check in the technical product specifications of the board, there is nothing on Virtualisation.
