SM Bus issue

Hi

  I am using S2600WF and we have a PCIe Add in card on the riser card in the server. We are trying to enumerate our SMbus device using the i2c_connect tool running in CentOS7.8.  When we run the i2c tool it only shows the controllers on the system. We have probes on our Add in card's SMbus pins. We don't see any activity on the SMbus to our card in the PCIe slot when we run the I2C connect tool. Question is do we need to enable something in the BIOS to enable SMBus to our Add in PCIe card?
