SNMP Sub-Agent for Windows creates unending log files

We have installed the SNMP Sub-Agent 6.0.11 on to Servers using the Intel Server System P4000IP and running Windows Server 2012 R2

The agent is working fine and we can use SNMP GET to interrogate the baseboard hardware. However it is creating a huge amount of log files labelled CacheRiver under C:\root\crlogs

We have tried getting access to this folder, deleting the logs, setting it so Administrator does not have write permissions and restarting SNMP service. This stops the logs, but then the SNMP service will slowly incease in memory usage until it causes an issue.

How can we stop the log files from being created?

Thanks

Justin

I see there was a similar issue three and a half years ago at , but I don't see any update since then.

Let me ask around and see what i can find.

Hi

I have noticed this problem on a number of installations, on varying platforms.

To date I have not found any solutions other than flushing logs regularly.

The only way to stop the logs at the moment is to remove the Sub-Agent.

Any info would be helpful.
