Hi!
I set up RAID5 on a server based on Intel SR1625URR with AXXRAKSW5 activation key installed. Then I installed Windows SBS 2011 according to instructions from http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-031086.htm Server Products - Slow system response with Windows 2008 R2* or Windows 7* and embedded NIC driver. In case of normal installation of Windows Server all symptoms described in these instructions appear, but now there is no high CPU utilization or mouse or keyboard response delays.
System operating stable, but catastrophically slow, due to slow RAID speed. This is not a case described in the above article, the cause is something else.
Is this normal for embedded RAID controller? Can separate RAID controller solve the problem?

Can you be more specific about how slow it is, and why do you think it's caused by the onboard RAID? Did you upgrade the board http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21640 BIOS/Firmware and load the latest http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18265 ESRT2 driver?
