Hello,
I'm setting up a SR1695WBACNA with 2 Seagate 300GB 2.5 inch SAS for OS mirroring. I'm running into a problem, everytime I load BIOS to view the drives it will not see them. I tried switching the drives from SAS to SATA and it will see those drives fine, on the Intel web site it says that this server can do both either SAS or SATA drives. Is there something I may be doing wrong? Firmware update? Any help would be apprieciated.
Thanks,
Eric

The mother board controller is SATA and will not reconize a SAS drive.
You install the one of the optional Intel ® I/O Expansion Modules for SAS

Can you post the link to this site. It appears that it is confusing to you, so I would like to see if we can get it fixed so as to not be confusing.
