SR2500ALLX - 4TB drives

4tbI have an SR2500ALLX with a SROMBSAS18E RAID controller that I'm hoping to re-use as a D2D backup server. The server previously had 6x 146GB SAS drives in - I tried replacing one of the disks with a 4TB SATA drive (http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/AAG/ENG/2178-771177.pdf WD4000FYYZ), but the bootable RAID configuration setup can only detect 2TB. I couldn't find anything in the RAID controller's firmware release notes that mentions a fix for this. Is it worth flashing the various BIOS and firmware of the server board, RAID controller et al, or is this likely to be a limitation of the controller/server? If the latter, is it worth replacing the RAID controller, or just replacing the server? Thanks
