Hello,

when will the SRCSATAWB RAID controller support large capacity harddisks, like 3TB disks? Hope to hear from you.

I'm afraid no - the SRCSATAWB uses LSI* 1078 SAS ROC, which doesn't support physical drives larger than 2TB. It's highly recommended that you select drives from the http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/srcsatawb/sb/CS-028320.htm Tested hardware and operating system list. There are 2TB drives in the list.

Hello Edward,

thanks for the reply. The card is allready full with 2TB disks, that's why we want to upgrade to 3TB. So there's no upgrade for this card in the future due to the physical limitations? So we should get another RAID controller then?
