Hi Zinctetsuya,

Because of the hardware configuration, you need to consider the following: The Processor that you are using (Pentium G4560) is a Desktop Segment processor you can confirm this https://ark.intel.com/products/97143/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G4560-3M-Cache-3_50-GHz here. The Intel® Server Board S1200SPL works with the Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1200 v5 Family. The Processor Pentium G4560 is compatible with the chipsets: Intel® B150 Chipset, Intel® H170 Chipset, and Intel® B250 Chipset; you can confirm this information https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/processors/pentium/g4560.html here, topic: Compatible Products. The Intel® Server Board S1200SPL comes with Intel® C236 chipset, this information can be confirmed at the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/server-products/S1200SP_TPS_R1_1_S1200SPL_S1200SPS_S1200SPO.pdf Intel Technical product Specification for this board, topic: Functional Architecture. Also, the memory you are using (SanMax SMD4-E16G28H-21P-D) is not into the Tested memory list for server board family. You can confirm this information http://www.cmtlabs.com/2012/memCertPartSearchResultsAll.asp?bNav=True&outside=False&sManuf=Intel&sMN=S1200SP&sSortField=&iPg=&sDetails=yes here.

I would suggest checking the Technical product specification for this Server Board, for more information about the board like memory configuration and such.

I hope this information helps, and do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions or doubts.

Thank you for your Replay.

Please tell me about your answer.

>>The Intel Server Board S1200SPL works with the Intel Xeon Processor E3-1200 v5 Family.

Looking at the following link destination, G4560 is listed as a compatible product.

https://ark.intel.com/products/97950/Intel-Server-Board-S1200SPLR

Still, do you recommend exchanging the CPU?

If so, I will buy Xeon or Core i3 Processor.

>>The memory you are using (SanMax SMD4-E16G28H-21P-D) is not into the Tested memory list for server board family.

I understood the memory is not on the list.

When I installed it in another memory*, Windows Update was completed.

However, installing Chipset Driver will generate BSoD.

If there are other advice, thank you.

Hi Zinctetsuya,

Thank you for your update. The Crucial BLS2K8G4D240FSA is Non-ECC. The server platform only supports ECC memory. We would suggest testing the server using validated memory. Also, can you please indicate the chip set version that you are trying to install?

Another thing that we can do is send you via email the instructions on how you can acquire the server logs, so we can investigate.

By the way, I review the processor compatibility, and the Intel® Pentium® Processor G4560 is supported with this server board: http://ark.intel.com/products/97950/Intel-Server-Board-S1200SPLR http://ark.intel.com/products/97950/Intel-Server-Board-S1200SPLR.

Thank you for your reply.

I understand the memory issue.

In this time I used another memory that I had at hand to isolate the problem.

The installed chipset version is 10.1.2.86.

The log file was sent via e-mail.

Also, I confirmed the followings.

BSoD occurs when updating the PCI Express Root Port driver in Device Manager.

That driver was pci.inf, the device ID was "VEN_8086 & DEV_1901".

If there are other advice, thank you.

Hi Zinctetsuya,

Thank you for your response.

I chucked the logs sent and it show a lot of memory errors. Is it possible for you to test the system with one of the tested memory mentioned in the list I sent you earlier?

Please let me know your results.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately I can not get the memory on the list.

Have you tested with Crucial or Kingstone memory?

I appreciate your advice.

Hello,

After that, I tried variously, but it was not improved.

(Replace the CPU, replace the power supply, re-install OS, clear CMOS, etc.)

Ultimately, replacing the motherboad, the error no longer occurs.

I bought supermicro "X11SAT-F".

The correctable memory errors in the log file by SysInfo utility was abnormal.

For example, there were the errors in DIMM-A2, even though no memory was inserted in DIMM-A2.

So, I think that my S1200 SPLR is defective.

I would like to repair or replace my motherboad.

Please let me know the procedure.
