Status indicator fault

I have a server with a red/orrange Status indicator fault.

Q1: How do I find out what is faulty?

Q2: Is there any relatively cheap software that can tell one what is going on and if the fault is critical?

The server is operating normally, but I am worried about the status.

Which server board are you using?

You can try to install http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19908&keyword=%22active+system+console%22&lang=eng Intel® Active System Console. But first make sure your server board is supported.

The Chassis is SR2400 and the server motherboard is SE7320VP2

This has a red light.

The second server is SR2500ALBPR which also had a red light on but that has been cleared when the drives were replaced. The red light may have related to the failure of one of the raid drives. We did not know the drive had failed or what the red light meant.

IASC 4.x works on SR2500ALBRP. However SE7320VP2 seems a little bit old, and there is an older version of http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18414 IASC for it. You can also run http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=7470 SEL Viewer to read the System Event Log and see what's causing the red light.
