Supports SRIS (Separate Reference Clock With Independent Spread) on S2600WFT R2208WFTZSR platform.

Hello.

We were given an external JBOF AIC J2024-04 disk cage for testing and a retimer PCIe board to connect it. The basket and board developers recommended that we enable SRIS support in the BIOS for connection.

At this stage, we changed the riser in the second slot to the A2UL16RISER2 model and installed a retimer card in the 16x port and enabled VMD support in the BIOS of the Intel S2600WFT server on the corresponding riser port.
I attach the JBOF connection diagram to the board in the screenshot.


Tell me if this technology is supported in Intel S2600WFT servers and if supported, how can I enable it?

Upon checking with our higher level support, they have investigated and the Intel® Server Board S2600WFT does not support SRIS (Separate Reference Clock With Independent Spread) technology.
