Teaming Intel 82575EB Gigabit Adapter Windows 2008 R2

We have a Server running Windows 2008 R2 which hosts our virtual machines via HyperV. The Server Motherboard is a Supermicro X7DWA-N which includes 2x integrated Intel 82575EB Gigabit Adapters. After installing the latest Intel Prowin64 drivers package the teaming tab appears in the adapter properties however the option to enable or create a NIC team is 'greyed' out and nothing we have tried seems to enable the feature on either of the two adapters.

Seems so close and yet so far away - had read something about 2008 R2 support for teaming only being available to PCI-Exp based NICS but I am not sure if integrated approved chipsets like the 82575EB. Any ideas or assistance at this point would be greatly appreciated.

Managed to find the solution after one day of searching and only ten minutes after posting!

Since the adapter was setup to use with HyperV it only had 'microsoft virtual switch protocol bound to the adapter', once TCP/IP was selected in the adapter properties the teaming option became available. Hope this may help somebody else.....
