Please advise where I can go or whom I may contact to get info, development kits, support, etc. for implementation of Intel's recently announced Thunderbolt digital connectivity platform.

Many thanks,

Steven Barlow

Thank you for your interest. We expect developer kits to be ready for distribution during the first half of Q2. Please check with your Intel sales representative for updates.

Who would be the product manager for the thunderbolt product line? Will they be at the NAB show?

Will you be having a developer kit for field peripherals. We are working on developing a stereo camera for pedestrian counting. The unit would be mounted in the field and would be connected to another computer in a different field cabinet. So it would need chips and cable that could survive in a NEMA enclosure outside.

Some related questions-

How much power can the thunderbolt electrical cable carry?

Will there be a field hardened version of the cable?

I did not see these in your announcement.

Thank you,

David
