I'm looking for description of Tri-Mode controllers profiles (SATA/SAS only, NVMe only, or mixed).
I found this article, but it isn't very usefull:
How do I Set up the Tri-Mode Controllers for NVMe*/SAS/SATA Modes?
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000029611/server-products.html
Where can I found full description of all profiles - to select te best for my RMSP3CD080F with two NVMe U2 drives?

Now article contains list of available profiles and their supported configurations
With two NVMe U2 drives I select profile 11_NVMe4
Great thanks!

Hello katbert,
Thank you for joining the community
Could you detail a bit more specifically what information related to the profiles you are trying to obtain, or what kind of setup are you trying to accomplish.
The RAID array creation process is pretty straight forward as it is done entirely from the BIOS setup utility as shown in the article. About mixing hdd types it is not possible within the same volume. When using NVMe drives you need to use the cables designed for this purpose only connecting them to the oculink ports.
For more in depth details you can check the RAID modules user guide from the following URL: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/server-products/raid-products/Tri_Mode_Modules_Hardware_User_Guide.pdf
I will look forward for your comments

Hello katbert,
Could you tell what server board model do you have this RAID controller installed in? Also about the profiles info do you need to know the meaning for each one, or the configuration differences whenever you select one or the other, or both?
We'll look forward for your comments

I'm using Intel Server System R2208WFTZSR with S2600WFTR board
After firmware update, RMSP3CD080F controller show only compatible profiles.
Now in RAID personality mode, RAID web console allow to select only two profiles: 11_NVMe4 and 13_PD64-NVMe4
