Update a MFS5520VI with MFSYS25V2 chasis failing

Hey I have an MFSYS25V2. The chassis is version 11.6.100.20120307.34736. I have 3 up to date MFS5520VI that are working perfectly which have the following versions:

BMC Firmware: 1.27.1

BMC Boot: 0.28

BIOS S5500.86B.01.20.0055

I bought 3 additional MFS5520VI which are failing to update the firmware and I will eventually get the unfit component. 
The 3 new (used) MFS5520VI have BIOS: S5500.86B.01.10.0043

I've tried the force BMC Update and booted to EFI Shell and tried to manual update the bios to version S5500.86B.01.00.0069.032620181413 however I get:

unable to initialize smbios library

I"m guessing I need to update two different versions before updating to the latest. Any thoughts?

The error that you get means that does not recognize the library of the version you re tring to upgrade.

Probably the used ones have an older or different bios. Try to reset the new (used) blades.
