WG160 Firmware update problem !

Hi,

Im trying to update WG160 to lateste firmware using EFI shell, after the F6 i choose EFI and then use update.nsh to start de process, unfortunately I'm having mixed results with this process, the last one that got me stuck was error trying to open and validate the ROM image, i cannot pass this without help.

Another way to update will be on windows but i don't know to use the commands to do it. Any help on those matters will be greatly appreciated.

You're talking about the RAID controller RS2WG160 right? What's the exact error message you're getting?

To update in Windows, unzip the CmdTool2.exe or CmdTool2_64.exe (for 64-bit OS) and the rom file into the same directory, and run the following command:

cmdtool2 -adpfwflash -f 2108_p35.rom -aall

Edward, i already solved the problem, installing the windows and updating via the software, thanks for the help.
