What performance growth should I expect with update from Intel Xeon X5650 to Intel Xeon E5-2670v2?

I am running CPU - demanding computations at old HP server with xeon x5650, looking for some update options. It's unclear for me to what extent performance will improve with upgrade to a more up-to-date HP server with Xeon E5-2670v2 inside.
