Where to find latest firmware for Server Board s5000XVN/XSL

Hi, I'm trying to find the fix for a really loud fan on this motherboard. All my searches ended up on Workstation board.

Is there a way to lower down the fan speeds on idle, since after powering on the machine, for half a minute, minute the fan is really quiet before going full speed again.

Hello goranculibrk,

Thanks for joining the community.

First of all let me tell you that this product is discontinued since 2010. For that reason we will try to provide you with the best possible support given the limitations.

The most recent firmware files available could be downloaded from the http://downloadcenter.intel.com downloadcenter.intel.com

I was able to find this one which doesn't specify whether if its for server or workstation, with usually is the same board with small differences like audio ports:

About the fan issue you can follow this guide:

Hope this helps. If you have further questions just let us know.
