Would the Xeon L5630 run on the following motherboard?
WX58BP
The motherboard by SuperMicro uses the same chipset, X58, and can
run the L5630. I am guessing that this processor should run on the WX58BP,
but I need confirmation.
I would prefer to buy the Intel motherboard.

The L5630 processor is not supported on the WX58BP.
The WX58BP supports 1333 MHz, 1066 MHz and 800 MHz DIMMs. The L5630 processor only supports memory types DDR3-800/1066. See:
