Hi
I am a 3D Generalist. I use Autodesk Maya and Vray. I want to know if Xeon PHi 7290 supports Maya and Vray rendering. If it supports i want to buy Xeon Phi 7290.
Any suggestions ?

Hello adinesh1908@gmail.com
When you say Xeon Phi 7290 I assume you are talking about the latest 72 core processor that works with the S7200AP board. There is another Xeon Phi PCI device called a coprocessor that is supposed to increase the performance of massive calculation tasks like simulations, 3D modeling and such.
About the 72 core processor it doesn't show under the Maya certified hardware list from Autodesk* https://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/HardwareCertificationResults_Maya2017_Update3_v01.pdf https://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/HardwareCertificationResults_Maya2017_Update3_v01.pdf What is listed are graphical processors since most of the Autodesk* software is graphics intensive in where a discrete graphics card will used.
So at this point is difficult to tell the behavior with the Maya software.
