em0 watchdog timeout - FreeBSD 6.4

using DELL R610 and FreeBSD 6.4, I do get 'em0 watchdog timout - resetting' error on my PRO 1000 PT ;

This card works fine on DELL710 with the same OS.

what does card=0x135e8086 mean?

I have come across another INTEL PRO1000/PT card with card=0x115e8086 that works fine with FreeBSD 6.4.

135e or 115e designate the subsystem ID of the network adapter. 8086 is the subvendor ID, which is Intel.

135e is the subsytem ID for the Dell version of the Intel® PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server Adapter.

115e is the subsytem ID for the Intel retail version of the Intel®) PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server Adapter.

Having the Dell version verus the Intel retail version should not affect any functionality.
