Hello Stefffen,
Support for this http://ark.intel.com/products/48247/Intel-Modular-Server-Chassis-MFSYS25 Intel® Modular Server Chassis MFSYS25 is limited to the website.
If the operational firmware image of the Intel® Modular System MFSYS25 Management Module (CMM) is corrupt, the CMM is unable to boot to Linux*. The CMM contains Emergency Boot Firmware (EBF) that allows the administrator to update the operational image regardless of the state of the current image. The following process uploads a new operational code image to the CMM.
Please make sure you are trying to reformat the SD card and at the "CMM EBF" prompt, type:
set manufacture on sd format exit
If you see the boot process, but cannot get the EBF prompt, note that the serial cable or USB to serial cable must be a fully populated straight-through cable. Specifically, it must allow the host PC to assert the CTS pin on the CMM.
Additionally, you could refer to http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/server-products/server-systems/MFSYS25_CMM_Recovery.pdf MFSYS25 Emergency CMM FW Recovery for more information.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Caesar B.

Hello Stefffen,
The possible scenarios will be the following:
1. SD card not seated properly
2. SC card not installed properly
3. Defective SD card
For 1 and 2 you need to reseat SD card properly and retry
For 3 no other option than replace with a good known SD card
Hope this helps.
