"Missing hard drive" after hard drive replace.

I've just replaced a hard drive in our raid 5 setup (4 drives) and after booting and going into the bios utility to add the new drive the system boots fine and reports that the array is being rebuilt, all is well there.

Upon opening Intel Matrix Storage Raid Console I see that Array_000 reports 5 hard drives now instead of 4 and "Raid Hard Drives" shows 4 connected and 1 missing.

Is there something I need to do so only the 4 drives (raid0,raid1,raid2,raid3) are shown? It seems like the controller/raid console knows about the old drive but doesnt realize its been removed.

Thanks for any help from the experts.

Terry
