Hello,
We installed a new server with motherboard s2600cw. The Server freezes completely and a force restart is required when virtual machines are running on SSD drivers. This doesn't happen on mechanical hard disks. We suspect some issue between the controller and the Gen2 SCSI virtual machines running on Hyper-V. Please assist.
Regards,
CompNet

Hello,
Please lets us know the part number for the SSDs you are using for the VMs and make sure that the correct settings for virtualization are set in the BIOS (Virtualization Technology).

Hello,
After checking the part number you sent us we can confirm that the SSD has not been validated for the server system so the issue might be related to compatibility. For testing purposes we recommend checking the validated SSDs for this board:
https://serverconfigurator.intel.com/exalt/RequestManager?ServletNumber=1&localinfo=0&RestrictionVal=SVG&APPLICATIONCODE=1 Server Configurator
Login as a guest and click on "THOL builder" then use the filters to select your board and the different manufacturers and brands for the different hardware components so you can locate a validated SSD for testing purposes if possible.
