Even it is RAM error, but it may not be RAM problem.... Do not trust the error code.

You daid:

i have 2 sas controllers and when i disconnect them the problem exists.

Did the RAM code come up AFTER you removed the SAS controller?

Go back to the stage where there was no RAM error. Then swap the RAM only. Do not change anything else.

Do not try to change so many things at one time. Only one thing at a time.

I had RAM error when I took over my board. But I know the RAMs were good. It turned out the system was complaining about the RAID controller. But gave RAM error code....

Here are some resaults that i try to find out what happens..

No pci-e sas controller on board just cpu and rdimm

1) 1rdimm in A1 slot power up and 3beeps with 0x000xxx then no beep and 000x0x0x and stuck

same error with 3 other rdimms in A1 slot

2) 2ridmm A1 slot + A2 slot the same as 1)

3) 3 rdimm A1 slot +A2 slot +A3 slot same as 1) and 2)

4) 2 rdimm in A1 + B1 stuck on 0x00000x after while 000x0x00 6 beeps and after that loop like restart

5) 4 rdimm (A1+A2) + (B1+B2) 0x00000x then 12beeps and loop like restart

can not find out what is happening

with udimms and x3470 boot is ok not or with the sas controllers

udimms are kinkston kvr1333d3e9sk2/4gi it was 2x2gb box.

i wonder if anyone has registered dimms 1333 16gb or 24gb working without problem (brand model p/n s/n)

Read the Intel manual on that board. I remember certain RAMs work with certain CPUs. Not all RAMs on the support list would work with all CPUs.

Also, it appears you already have a lot problems with the SAS part....

You should remove all the add-ons. Only CPU and RAM, not even video card. Then test them.

with rdimm, Sas controller are not problem because even of or on board the errors are the same

with udimms the controllers working fine, i have 8x2tb on srcsatawb raid 6 and 4 ibm 15k on ibm controller

i dont have video card in pci-e x16 only the onboard is working but i try a nvidia 8600gt and open with udimm / not open with rdimm

something else?? bios updated from 0042 to 0052

bmc firmware updated from 1.19 to 1.26

and sdr to 0.22 from 0.17

It is correct. Depending on the processor installed, you may or may not use certain type of memory. You may use RDIMM or UDIMM when using Intel® Xeon® processor 3400 series. You can only use UDIMM when using the Intel® Core i3 Series or Intel® Pentium series.

Make sure your system is updated to the most recent https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23921/S3420GPLX-LC-Firmware-Update-Package-for-EFI BIOS 52. If the issue remains, I would install the original memory and run our https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19657/Intel-System-Information-Retrieval-Utility-sysinfo-For-UEFI Intel System Information Retrieval Utility to capture the logs of the unit to see what else is being recorded when attempting to use the RIMM modules.
