Hello zvols,
Thank you for contacting Intel Xeon Community Support.
I was reviewing your thread and I would like to ask you the following details:
- Is this a new implementation? or it was working before?
- Have you tried to test the Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessor 7120P using a different motherboard?
Also, I was doing some research regarding the comparable Intel Server Systems with the Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessor 7120P
and the Intel® Server Board S2400GP2 is not in the list, which it means that you are facing a compatibility issue between the Intel Motherboard and the Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessor.
I am so sorry to tell you the news but my best recommendation will be to test the Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessor within a comparable system, please check the list of the comparable motherboards using the link below in "comparable products" section:
If you have more questions, please do not hesitate and let me know and I will be more than happy to assist you.
Best regards,
Emeth O.
Intel Server Specialist.

Is there an easy way to judge whether this xeon phi card is good or bad. I bought this card from a second-hand dealer.
I also failed to recognize the pcie1x extension cable on another x99 motherboard because the 7120p is too long to fit into the chassis.

Hello zvols,
Unfortunately, if your system is not comparable at all with the component; you will not have the possibility to test it properly. The only way is to find a comparable motherboard and test it accordingly.
On the other hand, the interactive technical support for the Intel® Server Board S2400GP you have requested has been discontinued. We can provide you with resources and self-service support information through our website.
We highly suggest that you get information from the product support site https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/products/61040/server-products/legacy-server-products/intel-server-board-s2400gp-family/intel-server-board-s2400gp2.html and all available technical information is included on the support site.
Best regards,
Emeth O.
