I am able to get multiple USB devices displayed even though there is only one connected. The steps I used was click the debug icon on the debug tab, answer yes to upgrade version .27. There is a crash with "Error 400". Retry the same thing again to successfully install and you see that multiple USB devices with the same ID shown in the second attachment.
Unplug the USB, shut down XDK, start XDK, replug USB and we have precisely one device.

Which version of AP crosswalk did you have prior to upgrading to version.27? Did the crash happen during the upgrade?
I'm glad it's working fine for you after that one glitch.

That double-device bug is a known issue. It does not appear to impact the ability of the XDK to work. We hope to have it fixed in a future release. You can safely ignore this bug.
