I have a problem when to set 1920x1080 on Samsung SyncMaster 2333 LCD monitor -picture does not take the whole screen, but leaves around inch and a half on left and right side. Vertically it goes all the way, so it results in squeezed picture. Unfortunatelly, it is not possible to change the picture size on monitor (like on good old CRTs), only position. When I tried some of the lower resolutions (i.e. 1280x720)it fits the screen nicely.
A friend suggested it may be because I am using analog (VGA) cable, but I do not see why it should not work if both accelerator and monitor are supporting 1920x1080. I believe I have installed the latest driver.
Here is the report:

OK, I figured out the problem and it was not accelerator or monitor or drivers, just bad cable... The one I have originally used was from my old CRT and it did not use one pin (probably used by LCD). When I switched to the cable supplied with the monitor it worked perfectly.
