I have a Dell E1705 with WUXGA video display. It uses the 945GM Express Chipset. While I like the 1900x1200 native display, my wife complains that the letters are too small, etc., but when I set it to 1280x768 she says she isn't blind and the letters are too big!
In Display Properties | Settings | Screen resolution, I can set the resolution to 16:10 values of 1920x1200 or 1280x768; I can set the resolution to 16:9 values of 1920x1080 or 1280x720. There is a 4:3 resolution of 1400x1050. I would like to use an intermediate value for 16:9 like 1400x788 or 16:10 like 1400x875.
Is there any way to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance.

You could use a sharewareapplication like PowerStrip to customize the screen resolution to whatever you like. I've used this app before when running a PC on non-standard monitors, like CRT TVs and DLPs that do not run standard resolutions.
