I own an Intel D946GZISSL motherboard and I am looking to purchase the following product from Shop Intel(SM):
Single DVI Advanced Digital Display 2 (ADD2) Card for PCI Express* x16
http://shop.intel.com/shop/product.aspx?pid=SIADD001&pfid=165&pindex=1
In the description for this card it states:
"This card is intended for use only with Intel Desktop Boards based on the Intel 915, 945, 965, 33, 35 or newer chipsets with onboard graphics."
My chipset was not listed so I checked the product information link and it states:
"An ADD2 card is an adapter card that can be inserted into the PCI Express* port of Intel G35, G33, G31, G965, Q965, Q963, 946GZ, 915G or 945G Express Chipset based systems."
Can anyone confirm if that ADD2 card will work with 946GZ?

I received the ADD2 card from Intel today and I am glad to report that it is compatible with 946GZ chipset. I am now using my Acer 22" P223w DVI-I as my primary monitor in Vista 64bit @ 1680x1050.
For those of you looking to purchase this addon card, you should rely on the product information link as it seems the sales info is out of date.
Make sure you install the latest Intel software drivers for your integrated graphic chipset. There are no separate drivers needed for this card.
Going DVI instead of VGA actually improved my WEI scores by a couple of points for both Aero and business/gaming performance.
Cheap alternative for those looking to use DVI with their systems that ship with only integrated VGA graphics.
