Consolidating company-owned licenses into a single point of contact?

My company has purchased 15 licenses for Intel Visual Fortran (and has another 15 expired, but that's not the issue now), and in February 2010 we also purchased license extensions for those. However, the extension made a real mess, and will pose a maintenance nightmare sooner or later, because (speaking from hearsay, did not verify everything myself):

  • Some developers received extension by Feb 2011, some by Dec 2010, some by Mar 2011, in seemingly random order (date of initial registration?)
  • One person has four licenses registered to his name. After the extension, one of those licenses is extended 4 times and is valid by 2015, and other three expired.
  • A couple of people with registered license have left the company in the meanwhile
Etc. In other words, the fact that we had let the developers manage their own licenses has turned into a mess, and we cannot manage the situation anymore. Ideally, we would like to move all the licenses under the responsibility of a single person -- our administrator -- and consolidate them so that they expire on the same date. Maybe there was a way to do that from the start, but it was not obvious by any means. Is that possible now? If so, how?

Jugoslav,

I think I can straighten most of this out. I'm going to start a private thread so we can talk about the serial numbers and contact information.

Regards,
Todd
