Hi,
we recently set up a new license server on a Windows 2008 R2 64bit server system. We used the latest 64bit flexlm version and an old license file for the fortran compiler with updated host information, now the server diagnostics produce this error:

I thought this message may only be related to the server platform, i.e., the license cannot be checked out on the license server. Unfortunately, the clients also cannot checkout a license. Is there a way to add "x64_n" to the list of platforms? The license file looks like this:
SERVER servername XXXXXXXXXXXX 28518 VENDOR INTEL PORT=1777 PACKAGE XXXXXXXXX INTEL 2010.0618 XXXXXXXXXXXX COMPONENTS="FCompW \ MKernW" OPTIONS=SUITE ck=181 SIGN=XXXXXXXXXXXX INCREMENT XXXXXXXXX INTEL 2010.0618 permanent 2 XXXXXXXXXXXX \ VENDOR_STRING="SUPPORT=ACAD \ https://registrationcenter.intel.com" HOSTID=ANY \ PLATFORMS="i86_n ia64_n" BORROW=169 DUP_GROUP=UH ck=140 \ SN=SMSAFKNBFRHT SIGN=XXXXXXXXXXXX # # SerialNumber=XXXX-XXXXXXXX #
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
We can't add or change the platform field in the license file, Only we can change the Hostname or Host id in the file if it is required to change.
Thanks,
Reddy
