I need to move two floating licenses of parallel_studio_xe_2016_update3 from an older machine to a new cluster. I have the hostid's and server names of both. Actually, I have the existing license file as well.

Hello,
Did you verify that the hostID in the license file matches the system's? (as per article linked above). If you are unable to change it please send me the SN, new hostID/servername via " Send Author a Message" link.

This is the output of the hostname & hosted command on the license manager……..
# hostname ; hostid
beluga0
e60afae6
This is the output of the ‘lmutil lmhostid’ command….
# /opt/licmgr/licenseserver/lmutil lmhostid
lmutil - Copyright (c) 1989-2015 Flexera Software LLC. All Rights Reserved.
The FlexNet host ID of this machine is ""80000208fe80 80000209fe80 14187770f13f 14187770f13b 14187770f13d 14187770f141""
Only use ONE from the list of hostids.
The ‘hostid’ output by the lmutil command appear to be matching a list of detected infiniband GUIDs instead of the system’s hostid.
What should be used as the hostid in the license file?

Please use only one of these:
The FlexNet host ID of this machine is ""80000208fe80 80000209fe80 14187770f13f 14187770f13b 14187770f13d 14187770f141""
I am not familiar with infiniband though.
