Hi,
as you can see, I have an account, however the XDK LOGIN screen on application start says it is not a valid user.
Could you please REMOVE that annoying Login-Screen? This is nothing but terror on users. I imagine having to do some quick last minute changes and then the annoying login screen not letting me work, this is totally inacceptable! Maybe some 20.000 dollar video software, ok, I can understand then, but there is no sense in not allowing a developer to at least start and use a software without a LOGIN - what an extremely bad marketing fail. Somebody wants to collect too much data.
Please remove it. Do. It. Now.
Thanks!
John

Unfortunately, the login you are using for this site and the one you are using for the XDK are not the same. If you have forgotten your login for the XDK you can test it here: https://appcenter.html5tools-software.intel.com/ -- we are working on unifying this login with the XDK login.
The login normally is saved so you don't have to enter it subsequently. I have requested a better system that would cache the login info so this is not a problem when you have a bad Internet connection. The login is required for the Test and Build tabs, due to their need to talk to the XDK cloud backend.
We do not share your information with anyone, in fact, I can't get to your data. We do take privacy very seriously here. I am a big advocate of minimizing the impact of the login on usage of the XDK, and will continue to work with engineering to minimize it's impact on using the tool.
