Hi,

I have this laptop: http://vaio.sony.eu/view/ShowProduct.action?product=VGN-FJ1S&productFilters=retired&site=voe_en_GB_cons&pageType=Overview&category=VN+FJ+Series

I recently bought this monitor - http://www.provantage.com/asus-vh242h~7ASU90N0.htm

I have the two connected via VGA cable.

However, the problem is, the max resolution I can select is 1600x1200, however this does not look right and so I have to revert back to using 1280 x 800, on my brand new monitor capable of 1920x1080!

This is what I get from MonInfo:

I heard I may be able to achieve this through DTD calculator, I do not know how to operate it though, so any help would be gratefully received! Thankyou.
