Installation of Intel Parallel Studio fails

The installation of Intel Parallel Studio from evaluation CD fails.

The error message is: "Error 1314. The specified path 1033 is unavailable."

I had the Parallel Studio previousy installed on my system (a week before), but had to remove it for some other reason.

Any idea how to re-install the Parallel Studio again?

Greetings,

Please try downloading from http://software.intel.com/sites/products/irc/StudioEvalForm7.html and let us know if it works.

Also how did you uninstall the previous version?

Thank You

Thank you for your answer.

I downloaded the installation package from Intel website, but that installation also fails with the same error message.

The previous version was uninstalled using Windows Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs.

When you registered for the evaluation at the link provided by Shamla, did you receive a license file?

If so, you could copy the license file to the default location for Windows*.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses\

When you install, choose the option to provide the complete path to the license file.

Let us know if this helpw.

The situation is now even worse:

We have purchased now the Parallel Studio on CD including a serial number.

This alsocannot be installed on my system, it hangs with the same error messages like the evaluation version.

Any idea how to fix this ?
