Is IT reviving?

The IT soap bubble finally burst. We heard all that and more. Is IT now showing signs of picking up? Do you feel that IT development is ready to begin a comeback. Are there any encouraging signals?

I feel that IT is on the upswing again. Companies are starting to hire. One key driver for IT is the growing mobile workforce which would be at 55 million in 2004, up from 39 million in 2000. The need and demand for wireless enterprise applications are on the rise. Being mobile creates opportunities to provide anytime, anywhere access to information.
