Hello,
I have requested for trial version of Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE for Windows. However when I am trying to launch Fortran Composer XE from Start/Programs, it tells to activate and wants serial number. How I can activate this version and therfore I can use?

You should have received the serial number (and license file) in the email reply to your request.

Thanks for reply. With the installation zipped file I have got "EVAL_W_CMP_FOR_VT2K-MGCV7NZL.lic" file. After opening this through notepad I have not seen any serial number. I have also tried 12 digit characters specifying with SN in this file, that doesn't work however. In e-mail
"The product license file is attached for your convenience. You may need to copy the file manually to your system." is mentioned. What does mean this, i.e., where to copy this file?

There are two ways of doing trial versions of the product. One requires no serial number and you simply select the trial version when installing. The second needs a serial number but if you successfully installed the product it would not ask for a license file.

I am moving this thread to our Download, Installation and Licensing section where we have experts in this area who can help you.

Thanks for reply. When I was installing, I selected trial installation. However after installation it wants the product to activate and wants serial number.

I am optimist that I have installed successfully.
