Among the 7 steps of installation, at 3rd step, Activation, after typing the serial number ****-********, the following message appeared.
'' Installation progress failed to establish internet-connection for activation. Please see the following link for more information and troubleshooting: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/product-activation-failed''
''If you have purchased this product and have the serial number and a connection to the internet you can choose to activate the product at this time. Alternatively. you can choose to evaluate the product or defer activation by choosing the evaluate option. Evaluation software will time out in about one month. You can also use license file of Intel(R) Software License Manager. Warning: Current customers should upgrade their license in either of the two ways: - Re-enter your existing serial number. -Obtain a new license file from Intel(R) Software Development Products Registration Center.''
So I logged in to Registration Center and downloaded the License file again, tried by License file, but activation still failed.
License is valid till 2017/03/24, bought from XLsoft Corporation , http://www.xlsoft.com/jp/products/intel/index.html
Intel Software is Intel Parallel Studio XE 2016 Composer Edition for Fortran & C++ Linux Academic
Host OS is Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation Standard
So what should I do to install successfully?
Sincerely,
Thwe

Thwe,
Please obtain all MAC-addresses from the host computer you want to install the product on and check if any of those is listed as host id in the license file. If not, please modify your license file properly.
If required, please check out this article to modify your license and obtain the license file for offline installation:
