Question about floating license in Visual Studio

Hi,

We are trying to decide about the type of license to buy for Parallel Studio / C++ Studio.

We need to know the following: If we have a floating license, and C++ Studio incorporated into Microsoft Visual Studio, then will the floating license be checked out when someone with it starts Visual Studio, or is it only checked out and returned if a user runs one of the intel tools from in Visual Studio?
