IMPORTANT: this post seems to be a repost of an old article that has moved it to the top of the forum.  It is dated 15 May 2015 and most of the comments are old too.  We are currently on version R4, which was released in August.  When you go to the download page, the version there is R4.

Some confusion can arise from the version numbering system that Intel uses (e.g R3 v5 and R4 v6).  Seeing v5 in this post could make people currently using R4 that it's a new release,

I've been noticing some unusual behavior in the forum system lately, such as receiving messages that a few of my posts have been updated or commented on but no change has been made to them.
