Splash Screen Fades to Black, then stays like that

Hi,

My splash screen loads, but then after fading the screen stays black, and you have to exit out of the app by clicking the android back button.

Sometimes it works fine, and the app loads after a second of black screen post splash screen. Most of the time though (80% of the time) it wont load, however once it loads once, the likelihood of loading successfully increases significantly.

I have in the past used IXDK on the same project with no issues, could it be the new splash screen plugin? As I did not have that in my previous builds.

Incidentally I have noticed by repeatedly tapping the splash screen, it seem to increase likelihood of the app loading.

I have only used my app on Android so far.

Does anyone know what the cause could be?

Nothing specific comes to mind. I suggest you use remote CDT to debug the issue, see this link for how to do that > https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/intel-xdk-debug-and-test-overview#RemoteChromeDevTools < this is the only way you'll be able to debug an app with splash screen.
